I'd love this, ideally implemented like Trakt’s Collection / Library feature (Collection was renamed to Library), with a dedicated ownership status independent of watched status and watchlists.
The key features for me would be:
Add movies, individual episodes, entire seasons or shows, with bulk actions.
Record the format: DVD, Blu-ray, digital, etc.
Optionally save technical details: resolution, HDR, audio codec, audio channels and 3D.
Record the date collected, with an unknown-date option.
View collection progress per show and season, making missing episodes easy to identify.
Filter and sort by format, resolution, date collected, etc.
Import existing Trakt Collection / Library data, including its metadata.
Two-way sync with Jellyfin would also be a major plus, keeping watched status, ratings and supported metadata aligned, while automatically reflecting media added to or removed from the server in WeTrakr’s collection. Removing a digital file should still let us retain ownership of a physical copy.
For example, I could own a season digitally in 1080p without having watched it yet, or have watched a movie without owning it. Keeping those statuses independent is essential.
This would make it a proper inventory of our physical and digital libraries, with automatic synchronisation.
Following up on my earlier comment, this time on the API side, which is what sync tools need. I opened a matching request on CrossWatch so both ends line up: https://github.com/cenodude/CrossWatch/issues/1510
Library endpoints in the public API: list, add, update and remove, with pagination and an updated_at / last-activity timestamp so sync tools can fetch only what changed.
Copies, not one entry per title: each copy (e.g. a 4K disc and a 1080p file) with its own format and technical details, plus an update call for when a file is upgraded.
Trakt-compatible values for format, resolution, HDR, audio, audio channels and 3D, plus a 4K Blu-ray format (Trakt lacks one), so Trakt imports and syncs stay lossless.
Episode-level ownership for shows.
A Trakt import that keeps metadata and original collected dates. Trakt's library export (JSON) includes both; mine go back to 2014.

I'd also love Collection / Library sync support through CrossWatch, so this data can stay consistent across my media server and trackers:
