Are you going to release a public API?

Yes, the WeTrakr API is already live and stable, so any developer can request an API key for their app whenever they want.

Many apps already use it, including SofaTime, Cinopsys.. and others, and new integrations keep joining.

What you can build

The API gives your app access to the user's WeTrakr tracking data: history, progress, watchlist, ratings, lists and scrobbling. It's a good fit for media centers, player plugins, tracking apps or any tool that wants to sync what people watch.

How to get an API key

You can request one through:

• Discord (preferred, since it makes it easier to talk through your integration and answer questions quickly)

• Email at alberto@wetrakr.com

All we need is your WeTrakr username, so we can link the key to your account.

Once you have your key

• In Settings > API you can see your app, the users connected to it, their devices and your daily usage.

• The full documentation and the API changelog are available on our developer docs site.

• New API versions and changes are announced on Discord and API docs site, so are the best place to stay up to date.
